90s Disco is an invitation to celebrate your life fully and shamelessly. Each song takes listeners on a sonic journey of passion, dance, and sexuality. The songs are set in Paris, Tokyo, and New York. The album title refers to the 1990s, when Mia was growing up and her thirst for music began.Β Β
Old Fashion is a manifesto against a big social issue of our time: chronic dissatisfaction. An unstoppable chase for being better, wealthier, sewn with a constant pursuit of materialism. Old Fashion refers to the trend of issues, patterns, and struggles in our social culture.
New Fashion is consolation in a time of tumult. Mia emphasises our ever-evolving nature, where changing mind is no longer seen as a mental or emotional disorder. New Fashion gives its listeners space for accepting their fluctuations. Self-Acceptance is the key on this EP.Β
